This table design is an occasional dining table, used as a console at all other times. The table should be light and portable, easy to open/close, yet strong to hold the dinner table configuration steady for quests.

Hardware examples. The Dropleaf hinge is specific to this kind of table. The latches should be bronze color.

The space where we need to use the table is constrained for 6 people. Here we tried the patio table for comparison. The new table will be a few centimeters narrower.
